New Beginnings

Well, I am now an Event Coordinator for Kona Ice.  I am excited because this may open doors for us in the event planning industry.  We have to book big events and I am a little nervous about being able to get big events, but I am going to keep my head up and work hard and let God take care of the rest.  I am trying to find projects that will help me meet my main goal of having my own event planning business.

I am also working as a Freelance writer and a Mary Kay consultant.  I hope that I can find enough hours in the day to be successful in all of these things.  The main issue is that until I get established here, I won't be making enough; so I am also looking for a 9-5 type job.  Yes, I think I may be crazy! 

I refuse to be defeated!  It is time for a new beginning and much success in life. 

Day of Rest

Well, I didn't do much writing today.  I decided I needed to try to relax a little, but my goals are never very far away!  I am a worry wart.  I just want to succeed.  Everybody needs some down time though and I have a hard time making myself take that down time.  My mind likes to be busy.

Have you ever wanted to improve your career and family life?  This is the place for you to come and share your ideas and goals.  I am getting a fresh start at the age of 38 and want to share the exciting road with others that have the same desire to make their life better in every way!!!  I have just relocated to a new state and now have the task of starting a new career.  It is very frightening but it must be done.  The way I see it, life throws you curve balls and you can either lay down and give up or you can keep your head up and look for a better way to proceed.
